CATHOLIC WOMEN'S ASSOCIATION DIOCESE OF BUEA
The Catholic Women’s Association (CWA) in the Diocese of Buea, Cameroon, is a lay private and non-profit making organization of the Catholic Church in Cameroon. We are an apolitical organization governed by the canon laws of the church. Our principal objective is to achieve a true renewal of the spiritual lives of our members and to help them model their lives after the life-style of the Blessed Virgin Mary, patroness of the CWA.
We provide special education and training for our members in order to promote participation in the church’s mission of evangelisation, as well as encourage a more intimate unity between their everyday lives and their faith. The salvation of the souls of our individual members is of prime importance.

Through continuous training and sensitisation, our members have realised the necessity and importance of educating their children, especially the girl child to ensure the future of our association CWA, the church and society as a whole. for as the saying goes, " to educate a woman is to educate the nation " and are consequently carrying out projects to this effect.
